 Douglas DC-3 G-AMZF Jersey AIrlines 1950s on.

Finally finished this one. Its been on my bench unfinished for a few months now and I set about completing it I settled for Classic Airliners decals by Nick Webb and opted for the Jersey Airlines option( the other being BUA). Its the Roden kit (AC-47 Gunship edition). Nice kit but the only real downside of it for me is the too shallow windshield. But easily overcome by filling the recess for it and using a decal once painting etc is done. There may be other issues with it but is still acceptable.

Cant see any issues here.

A very fine build of this classic Douglas aircraft.

Very nice. The Roden kit is a lot more "acceptable" than the Minicraft abomination!

You did a fine job on it and it actually looks like a Dakota…..better than a out of the box build regarding that windshield👍👍👍

The 'Jersey Airlines' titles on the wings  were not applied to the tops of both wings but 'above port' and 'below starboard' wings.

Thanks for that. I thought it a bit odd at the time I was finishing it!

But  can't do anything about it now as I  have sold the model.
