Paul J Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Douglas DC-3 G-AMZF Jersey AIrlines 1950s on. Finally finished this one. Its been on my bench unfinished for a few months now and I set about completing it I settled for Classic Airliners decals by Nick Webb and opted for the Jersey Airlines option( the other being BUA). Its the Roden kit (AC-47 Gunship edition). Nice kit but the only real downside of it for me is the too shallow windshield. But easily overcome by filling the recess for it and using a decal once painting etc is done. There may be other issues with it but is still acceptable. 24 1
Alex1978 Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Cant see any issues here. A very fine build of this classic Douglas aircraft.
ajmm Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Lovely build. It's a nice kit. You've done a great job with it.
Skodadriver Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Very nice. The Roden kit is a lot more "acceptable" than the Minicraft abomination! Dave G 🇺🇦 2
janneman36 Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 You did a fine job on it and it actually looks like a Dakota…..better than a out of the box build regarding that windshield👍👍👍 cheers, Jan 1
AMB Posted July 12 Posted July 12 The 'Jersey Airlines' titles on the wings were not applied to the tops of both wings but 'above port' and 'below starboard' wings.

Thanks for that. I thought it a bit odd at the time I was finishing it! But can't do anything about it now as I have sold the model. 1
