DaveJL
Hello all, Here is my recently completed 1/48 Eduard Mig-21bisD, in the markings of the Croatian Air Force based at Pleso, Zagreb in 2016. These upgraded aircraft had modern navigation, communication and IFF equipment fitted to allow them to take up NATO QRA duties. The build thread is below: Extras used include a Barracuda resin shock cone and CMK ejection seat. Paints are from MRP with the modest weathering applied using Flory wash, Abteilung oils and Tamiya weathering sets. Beside my Czech 'splinter' scheme from a few years ago: Thanks for looking and stay safe Dave 53
Electric Indigo
Great work on that excellent kit. I didn't know they were in service that long (before being replaced by dutch F-16s IIRC).

_alfisti_
Your MiG looks great, very nice and realistic finish.👍 ...same for the Czech one... 22 hours ago, Electric Indigo said: I didn't know they were in service that long (before being replaced by dutch F-16s IIRC). You got something wrong, there are no F-16 for Croatia. They planned to buy some Israeli F-16 but that deal was cancelled. Croatia will purchase 12 ex French Air Force Rafale in near futur. exdraken
Wow, fantastic result!! Also your Czech splinter of course! A pity they stopped operating long time ago... Soon the Fishbeds time is over over Europe... Croatia maybe the last one... 😞

keefr22
Lovely build again Dave - that really is a grey jet though, I honestly thought the pics were in black and white until I noticed the cockpit turquoise! Cracking Mig! Keith
DaveJL
Cheers Keith! The turquoise certainly breaks up the grey!
