question about wiring antennas in 1/72 scale

Hi Guys, I'm new in this nice forum, I build 1/72 scale airplanes for ..years ?? began with Airfix and Frog models bags in the seventies .. But I never take care about antennas.. and  I must admit that's  add a lot to a model in fact. In this scale they should be very thin , so I tried to make them with Mig rigging witch is nice for mast to tail work. but when it comes to side to tail or wing to tail ( ie for early P-40's.) it's not that easy to use.. That's the reason of my post.

may be there is an answer somewhere in the forum, if so , sorry for my question and could you give me the link to find info.

Anyway thanks for your interest and answers  !!

cheers !!

Several solutions: "Invisible" thread (nylon monofilament), fly tying thread, medical suture thread/steel wire, AK Mega-Thin (0.02 mm), Uschi van der Rosten's Superfine (0.01 mm), or even stretched sprue.

I can find it down to 0.1mm on Amazon but does it need to be finer?

High E guitar strings can be had for cheap in 0,08 mm.

Cheers,

Andrr
