VG 33
Hello Here is my prototype Dassault Mirage 4000 built in 1/72 from a Modelsvit kit. This one is not so easy than their last Mirage IIIB but at least I have finished it. This Mirage 4000 was as seen in 1987 with fake AA missiles under the wings and camouflaged to tease Middle Eastern rich countries. In the end this one stayed a one off partly because France did not buy any. But the design was useful for the next Dassault project : Rafale. The build is here : https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235096406-modelsvit-dassault-mirage-4000-172/ Patrick Edited April 24, 2022 by VG 33
stevehnz
That looks fantastic Patrick, just the scheme I will do mine in come the day & you have done it splendidly. Desert colours & Mirages look so good together to my eye, I really like this one. 👍 Steve.
Val_Ukraine
Brilliant job, Patrick! And the desert camo looks great!
PattheCat
Splendid. It looks better - to my taste - in a desert scheme than in the white one.

kiseca
Beautiful build! I remember reading about the "Super Mirage 4000" when I was young, in the 1980s, and assuming it would show up all over the place in due time. It was supposed to be the ultimate Mirage. A very pretty jet that has its place in my mental airforce of what-if fighters from the 1980s alongside the F-20, F-16XL and maybe that spoofed F-19 stealth fighter as illustrated on a Loral advert. Hope this link works: 1

It is a school similar to that which used to be at RAF Cosford last Century. Patrick
