As part of my "Hawker Hurricanes around the world" project, for this GB I built an Arma Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb 1/72 using Flying Papas decals as a version captured from the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army Air Force (ML-KNIL) in Indonesia 1942.

y4mYRISvI0bOITMeN0c-xvOnowTAIK6rKScahJgN

Hand brushed with Vallejo 71.324 Dark Green, Tamiya XF-52 Dark Earth, and Tamiya XF-23 for Sky blue underneath. Besides the fact that this is a Hawker Hurricane wearing hinomaru, the most interesting element of the photos of this a/c to me is that it lacks a canopy, so I took the opportunity to leave that off and allow a view into the cockpit. Unfortunately the Flying Papas decals left something to be desired, so I had some work to do fixing some of them up such that I am describing this as 1/72 model best viewed from 72 inches away (I have a lot of those, lets be honest 😉). Left her clean as I assume a captured plane being shown off typically would be. Hope you enjoy, and thanks to all participating in this GB, I've enjoyed it!

1/48 Smer Avro504k pretty much oob decals are a mix of spares box and home printed. Oh and the upper wing had to be scratch built as the carpet monster got the kit part :(

Hasegawa N1K2-J 1/72, built pretty much OOB, painted with Tamiya enamels, XF-11 topsides & XF-12 undersides. An older kit but it went together really well, no issues in fit at all & no filler used, though a wee smear of something like Vallejo filler might have helped the wing root, it is slightly wider that a wide panel line. ;) :D The decals were quite thick & to begin I had hassles with them then I figured I might have had the bedding solution too dilute, adjusted that & they settled down well with no silvering, just like they're 'sposed too using "The Method."

WiP here.

As usual, a very fun GB and it feels as if I've got my mojo back too!  Here's my second for this one...the Azur-Fromm Nakajima Ko-4 (Nieuport-Delage 29)...

Straight OOB with stretched sprue for rigging.  I skipped the double flying wires....I know, you're all scratching your heads, "What was he thinking?"  Sometimes my insanity only goes so far....Thanks to the mods for this.  Really stirred my pot, so to speak.

Here's the WiP...

Here's some pix!

1/35 Tamiya M41 tank as used by the JGSDF. My first 1/35 anything...and I raced through the final steps to get this done in time for the gallery. I wish I could have figured out the right mix of paints to make a more convincing Japanese skin tone on this guy - although he has central-casting Anglo War Hero features, too.
