Its not pedantry as such when its just nit-picking :)

Hi space team.

Put me on the list for a Skylab build. I’ve already started over on the ‘Space and Sci-fi’ pages but I don’t think I will exceed 25% by August. 👍

I'm facing a bit of a dilemma - when I started the proposal for this GB I said I'd build the Revell ISS if we got through the Bunfight.

But since then, I also bought the Dragon 1/72 Saturn V.

🤔

To make proper use of this reply I've provisionally decided on a project if I can find some Floplast 6D143 I need about a meter. Hint HERE For All Mankind has a lot to answer for. BTW there is a lot of rocket porn at the link, you may be some time.

Well there is almost otal overlap with the B-17 STGB and I haven't found any pipe so I'm going to bail on this one until some comes along. Sorry.

I think I'm fairly certain I'll be making my AMT Klingon Bird of Prey...

...but while helping to sort through my parents' house I found this:

I started this in the early 90s but lost interest mainly due to the side consoles not going all the way around, but also I remember the outer flooring didn't go together that well (but that was more likely user error).

Evidently this was some time before I started using masking tape :D

If I was going to do this I'd strip the paintwork (presuming you can strip Humbrol enamels?) and be largely starting it again so it should qualify under the 10% rule. But now part of me has started formulating more elaborate plans of turning it into a box diorama where you look from the corridor of the Enterprise D into the holodeck recreation to the TOS bridge, à la the TNG episode Relics:

hmm, maybe something to chew over in a more long-term project.

Another interesting factoid connected to this kit is that you can buy 3D printed crew members, including random red shirts if your scene requires someone to meet their impending death:

I don't know if the would be eligible if not I have a Revell enterprise I could do.

The Enterprise would be good - the F-104 couldn't make it above 100km I don't think!

This one starts in a few weeks and I think I'm the only host. Is there anyone interested in co-hosting?

I'm in GMT+10 so ideally it'd be someone who lives in Europe or Africa.

It's also my first time - other than paying a healthy interest in everyone's builds, what else does a good host do?
