wavodavo
I've just my nozzle snap of in my Iwata Neo airbrush. I've tried to remove the broken part by techniques found on Youtube etc but just seemed to be breaking up inside and I'm unsure what the threads will be like now. I've seen that you can get replacement parts for Iwata but I don't know if you can get replace bodies? Or may a tap to tap a new thread? nheather
I don’t think so https://airbrushes.com/parts_info.php?cPath=400_217_300&products_id=21056 And if you could I would imagine that the price would be almost the same as a new airbrush. In fact you might find the airbrush on discount somewhere so it would be cheaper than a replacement body. Once you have got the bits out I imagine that the threads on the body will be fine - they will be tougher than the metal used on the nozzle. Mike
If you have knackered the thread, it's probably more cost-effective to get a brand new brush, as Nigel said above. Don't give up just yet though. Finish the recovery and take a careful butchers down the thread to see if there's any damage.
