In these politically-correct times, it's weird to think that these girls were allowed on to an operational air-base, never mind photographed near an F-111. Personally, I have no real issues with images like these, but some folks out there would probably have a very different view. To each their own, I guess....

PS: I'm sure folks are familiar with the stories of some airframe logos on Western aircraft used in the first Gulf War. Paintings of buxom young ladies and some other more-risque images were quickly "sanitized" so they would not offend local sensibilities. It's a funny old world, innit?

I think this was probably the pre-PC era?

I think these ladies are probably from a Pilot Calendar, several of which came out in the early 1970's.
