Taylor Durbon
Hello. I‘m about to start the 72nd scale Trumpeter kit of the F-100D Super Sabre. This kit has many nice options like open canopy, speedbrakes and dropped leading edge slats. Moreover you have the trailing edge divided in three pieces. The outer ones are obviously the ailerons. I‘m looking for pictures or drawings which shows how the inner flaps are working. It seems that the outer parts can also work as spoilers? Maybee someone knows? Thanks from Germany
Junchan
The 2 outer sections are the ailerons and they are actuated as one unit. The inner most section is the hydraulically operated flaps of which the maximum deflection is 45 degrees.
