Small yes but probably all they could afford right now. More in the future when the next budget year comes around.

Small indeed,  but Block 70s in a comprehensive all-in package. A step in the right direction for Bulgaria

The quantities of munitions listed seem no more than a token amount, probably enough for training and familiarization.

I believe Bulgaria only has around a dozen Mig29s operational, so adding 8 F-16s will make a big difference. The two seaters are operationally capable as well as providing  training aren't they?

Fully operational. Just a tad less fuel in the airframe.

Bulgaria has 8 F-16C/D's on order, with likely 8 more to be ordered soon. The last 8 just received OK from the US government, so down to the Bulgarians now.
