John Masters
I must get cracking if I want to build another for this GB. I'll finish this one first.
John Masters
I jumped ahead and have pretty much painted this completely. It will need a bit of touching up (rudder), but I think it's looking pretty good. --John

John Masters
Decals are all on. Now I have give it some matte varnish, assemble the landing gear, attach the whiz-bangs...And I hope it will be in the gallery by this evening. Nice decals btw. Thin and sticky. --John

John Masters
Almost there... I gave the aircraft some matte spray then assembled and attached the landing gear and the underwing stores. All I need do now is attach the canopy (open) and the bit of radar sticking out of the nose. Then It will be done. I have decided to make today a 'modelling day'. I'll wrap this up, make serious headway on the Dornier and Osprey, start up my Century and Canadian GB. I would like to build another for the Falklands but I'm not sure I have time for the Pucara. --John
John Masters
About 20 minutes of touch-ups here and there, attaching the canopy and the pitot in the nose...finito! That, as they say, is that... The bad news is that the catering gig I was supposed to help with in Athens beginning on July 7 and ending the evening of the 11th has been cancelled due to Covid (not me, others...). I will take this in stride, however, and use the time before the next gig (July 25-30) to finish some builds and begin some new ones. I might even have time for the Pucara. The rest of the images are in the gallery. Cheerio! John

Johnson
A bit 'after the event', but I just read through your thread John (there's never enough time during a GB!). A very good read after the chores on a Sunday with a coffee! Great build and looks like a fantastic kit. I will have to add one to the (out of control) stash in the hope of a Mirage STGB in the future. Cheers,
