Decals are all on.  Now I have give it some matte varnish, assemble the landing gear, attach the whiz-bangs...And I hope it will be in the gallery by this evening.

Nice decals btw.  Thin and sticky.

Almost there...

I gave the aircraft some matte spray then assembled and attached the landing gear and the underwing stores.  All I need do now is attach the canopy (open) and the bit of radar sticking out of the nose. Then It will be done.  I have decided to make today a 'modelling day'.  I'll wrap this up, make serious headway on the Dornier and Osprey, start up my Century and Canadian GB.  I would like to build another for the Falklands but I'm not sure I have time for the Pucara.

About 20 minutes of touch-ups here and there, attaching the canopy and the pitot in the nose...finito!

That, as they say, is that...

The bad news is that the catering gig I was supposed to help with in Athens beginning on July 7 and ending the evening of the 11th has been cancelled due to Covid (not me, others...).  I will take this in stride, however, and use the time before the next gig (July 25-30) to finish some builds and begin some new ones.  I might even have time for the Pucara.

The rest of the images are in the gallery.

Cheerio!

John

Nice job John.

Thanks Peter.  Likewise on your cavalcade of builds happening around the place.

A bit 'after the event', but I just read through your thread John (there's never enough time during a GB!). A very good read after the chores on a Sunday with a coffee!

Great build and looks like a fantastic kit. I will have to add one to the (out of control) stash in the hope of a Mirage STGB in the future.

Cheers,
