Homebee
Aviation Art ZM is famous for its Valom, Fly, RS Models, AVI Models, KP, Mark I, Sabrekits box art illustrations. In a recent Facebook message Aviation Art ZM has unveiled a Percival Sea Prince T.1 (WF118/569-CU - 750 Sqn) illustration looking like a future box art. Considering Valom has recently produced several twin-engined post WWII British aircraft types (Valetta, Viking, Twin Pioneer) in 1/72nd scale... To be followed. UPDATE: Valom 1/72nd new tool kit confirmed ! 👍 That said, in 1/48th please... 🙏 Source: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=325811932868400&id=100063187870655 V.P. Ptmvarsityfan
Would be very welcome, especially as the ageing Special Hobby Pembroke is virtually unobtainable now!
Meatbox8
I hope this comes to fruition. My Special Hobby Pembroke was a pig and came to a complete halt some months ago.

Does anyone know if they also do art for Special Hobby? The Special Hobby Pembroke kit is set up to build a Sea Prince as well. You just have to use the tranparent wingtips, rather than add the wing extensions required if you want to build a Pembroke, and it includes the "school room" interior parts. But up until now, it has only been released as a Pembroke. But I would welcome both a Special Hobby Sea Prince boxing, or a new Valom Sea Prince / Pembroke kit. Branky
The kit will indeed be produces by Valom, but no details regarding markings has been revealed... The master is not yet ready, seems the kit might be out in late summer or in autumn. As soon as we have news... we will have news. There will be several boxings

TheyJammedKenny!
Yes please, and this time without the butt-joined horizontal stabilizers, mehopes. Such was the case with Special Hobby's example. But we shouldn't complain!
Branky
For those who had dreams and hopes, there will be no Pembrokes released by Valom, only the Sea Prince
Paul J
If there is to be along nose Prince, then it shouldn't be to difficult to make an RAF Pembroke should it?
Branky
No, it can be done provided VALOM included the lengthened nose, twin wheel main U/C and elongated nacelles for the Sea Prince T1 you only have to lengthen the wings to get a Pembroke if i am correct. But then it is no problem for Valom to also market a Pembroke and that is just what mr Lomitsky said he is not going to do... Currently only the two (Sea) Princes are announced

Just so long as Valom doesn't have wing to fuselage joints as truly horrible as the Special Hobby Pembroke or have the same wing tip arrangements I will be very happy.
AMB
Disappointing that only the short-nosed Prince is being done. A missed opportunity as the long-nosed Pembroke/Sea Prince had a lot more scope for operators. I contacted Valom and they said they are not going to do that! A pity at the Special Hobby and 16 Escadre Pembroke kits are hard to find now.
