kpnuts
Hi all well I'm back from Scotland so did some work on this today, this is as much detail as the kit supplies I've done a trial fit in the body to see how it looks, I've got more pipework and wiring to add yet.
kpnuts
Added some of the missing pipework, did the first bit of masking, started weathering the underneath and started on the brakes. And a trial fit of the rear end.

DoctorB
Looking good, kpnuts... just suggest you test fit the engine exhaust through the rear bumper... that was a minor annoyance for me as i hadn't done it and the fit required a bit of 'encouragement' at final assembly

DoctorB
Strong glue for the suspension... especially the rear... i made the schoolboy error of using tamiya extra thin... just not strong enough
kpnuts
I use superglue for most of it.

Nice progress, Can I ask why it is necessary to use "strong glue" for the rear suspension? surely if you are gluing the parts "styrene to styrene" the Tamiya extra thin, will "weld" them into place, or are you finding that the Extra thin won't glue painted surfaces sufficiently? Regards, Keith.
kpnuts
It’s just my choice of glue for most of my modeling
DoctorB
Mpfiend, not 100% sure why it didn’t work so well for me with Tamiya extra thin. One contributing factor is definitely the weight of the finished model. It’s a good point you raise about painting then gluing. It’s so long ago now I can’t remember but it’s quite possible. Point noted for the next 1/12 build.
