If they were serious about illegal migrants they'd replace the guns with high power water cannon, and spray IMR (illegal migrant repellent). If that is found to be too politically incorrect then plan B - paint the ship red and you've got one enormous fire-fighting ship with twelve 6-inch calibre jets.
