Peter W
Hi guys, Just thought I'd chuck an SR71 in that isn't Revell. I wish it had of been though because this is a tough kit to get anything good out of. I added quite a few extras to try and spruce it up but to paraphrase a well known food eating challenge show - "In the never ending battle of man versus model........model wins". Glad to have one in the cupboard though. For completeness the extras were: Metallic Details Exhausts, Undercarriage, Nose, Grills and Intakes. Afterburner Decals SR71 Blackbirds New Ware Canopy Masks True Details Cockpit Thanks for looking Pete 31
Murewa
👍👍👏👏 That's gotta be the sexiest aircraft ever built!
SAT69
I don't see a thing to complain about. Knowing what a tough build that one can be, I can truly say your work is commendable.
Natter
Nope... man wins. Maybe I'll build my old Testors '71 after all, though there's no chance it'll look anywhere near as good as your model. What a paint-job. Magic.
Alan P
It looks superb 👏👏👏 Proving that the never ending battle of man versus model can be won by the extravagant application of funding and human effort! Beautifully finished, with an excellent rescribing job as well 👍
John B
Very nice! There is something to be said for persistence and the value of something being more when it is hard-won. 👍 The subtle panel-line treatment is impressive in that it doesn't shout its presence, but is still effective. BTW- You must have a sizable cupboard is that kit fits inside it.
