exdraken
The rocket pods in the kit are difficult to use as if I remember correctly, the rockets themselves should not protrude the frangible covers... Not sure of the correct type either currently.... LGB are fine of course! Was it Pave Way IIs? Cheers,..... need to get my GB participation projects back in track soon...

Cheers,..... need to get my GB participation projects back in track soon... the rocket pods look really good until you read the instructions and have to sand off the rocket bits, I picked up a couple of edaurd Paveway II’s off the internet. like you starting this GB I must start my Sherman build.

A few problems with your Paveway II (UK) bombs, the two straps around the centre of the bomb body are a feature of the enhanced Paveway II(UK) bomb that was introduced in the 1990's so need sanding off, the deep bronze green bomb colour you have used is far too bright for real DBG, and you need a yellow band painted just behind the front nose fairing. These bombs were poorly researched when they did the moulds, they could not even get the weapon name right, which does not inspire confidence! Ozzy
I can see why I’m an occasional aircraft modeller, there are decals for decals. I’ve put on a fair few but not all of them. I over-sprayed with Vallejo Matt varnish and am pleased with how she’s turned out.
