Corsairfoxfouruncle
Hello everyone … I am present my 3rd RFI of the year. It is the 1/72 Matchbox Hawker Tempest Mk.II. It was built in the Matchbox group build and was built a in the markings of 152 Squadron “Black Panther’s”. A few with its older cousin, my Car door Tiffy build. Please feel free to ask questions, leave comments, or visit the build thread. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235104195-hawker-tempest-mkii/ Dennis
jean
Very nice Dennis, Congrats! I knew of the panther on a Spitfire, but not on a Tempest. It looks just as impressive. JR

I did it more as a Whif build.

Bertie McBoatface
They look really good together. Good outcomes from the old kits.
BerndM
Nice, clean build and it looks fine in this livery. This old kit is really fun to build.
112 Squadron
The old Matchbox Tempest is one of my favorite kits. Maybe because I built one back in the days when I was a young boy. I like that you added the drop tanks and the rockets. Even though these are whif markings IIRC there was at least on Tempest that was delivered to the SEA theatre of operations for trials that had these markings apart from 152 Squadron panther and codes letters of course.
