MiG-15UTI SyAAF (HobbyBoss 1/72)

Recommended Posts

Hello!

This build will be straight from the box. Well, not 100%... I also found old PE parts from Extratech that I bought years ago.

Cockpit is the only place where details are added + wheel bays and that's it. No rivets, nothing fancy.

Stay tuned, I'll try to update in next 3 weeks, I have some other projects to finish...

Cheers!

Hello,

After a long pause, it's time to update this topic. I'm too slow and there's nothing I can change at the moment...

Main assembly is completed. Wing joints are panel lines too so only smooth sanding is required to look decent. Few tiny gaps are present but CA glue will fix that.

Airbrakes were such a pain and I should left them opened but now it's too late. Right one has few small gaps but it's fixable.

Camouflage will stay the same - Syrian. Since I don't have the right size for roundels, I'll just pain them by cutting simple masks from Tamiya tape, some test were done and they look good. Green stars will be added from Paulus Victor decal set for Syrian MiG's.

Cheers!
