@steve5

oh bloomin ‘eck.

Its been a while since I looked at this log, that looks am.az.ing.

Here I, wondering how I’m going to rig my H.M.S. Alert, and you show me a masterclass in rigging.

I’m going to have to find any excuse to not do my rigging.

bertie , I can't wait to see you do some rigging either .

thought it was about time , I mounted the ship to it's board . hopefully I wont keep knocking the rudder of now . just got to get a plaque made up for it .

Hang upside down from the ceiling. It’s the only way. 😂

On a more serious level, is it possible to careen the Friar so that you can approach the shrouds from the top?

Or, put the ship on something lower than the bench ?

this was a bleeding nightmare to do , nearly gave up on it .

Gidday, after all this work? Stick with it, easy for me to say, I know. Steve, this looks superb.

       If you think you need a break there's a weekend blitz build here starting tomorrow. Do something very easy and simple. Scratch build something if you don't have a kit available. Then come back to this next week. That's what I'm doing, and my HMS Glamorgan is nowhere as complex as your model here. HTH. Regards, Jeff.

Well, that turned out ok.
Seriously though, that is a brilliant piece of work. I did fleetingly look at this kit and the other 1/100, Soleil Royal, then saw how BIG they were !!!!!

So I’ll just gaze in wonder at your build.
