The good lady is OK for now, she has a few more tests to do but things are moving in the right direction, for now. Thanks @elger. Right, some washes done then some matt varnish X 86. I am not that happy about the finish, I may give it another coat , not sure. Anyhow, have a great evening peeps. Stay safe. Simon.

Thanks @shortCummins, @elger, @AliGauld, @Hamden, @GREG DESTEC, @mark.auand @Dr. Quack. Ok folks, time to apply some glue I suppose. Main U/C bay added. Oh boy what fun, please anybody building this kit make sure that all the strengthening ribs are fully located and flush, or you will end up having to do this. Don`t look if you have sensitive eyes. But got this finish... I am leaving that to set. Next the fuselage....... Stay safe. Simon.
Spookytooth
Well folks, fuselage together. The last we will see of most of the time spent doing the cockpit etc, she is a slim bird though. The radiator screen they supply is too small. Will need to scratch that bit. And together, as sorts. Again. leave to set..... OK, you lot have a pleasant day. Stay safe. Cheers, Alistair Are you sure Ali? LOL. Final for today. I could not resist it. Quickly slipped together. You can see that I added the ailerons and guns to the wings. I can see some filling here and there but will see once glued. Stay safe. Simon.

Best wishes to the lady Rose. Johnny Thanks lads, but some serious work coming up. :See below pics. Thanks @elger, @Hamden, @Dr. Quack, and @PeteH1969. Well the results are through and in first place.. The leading edge joint. The gun fairing needs work this side. And the other side. And things get worse from here on. As much tape and clamping did not stop this lot.... Nose area underside. Oil cooler area.... Tail area... Engine upper area. And spine area. W(hole) .... But that is an optical illusion . Well, the good lady had her tests done yesterday and we now just wait the outcome. Stay safe. Simon.
AliGauld
I sincerely hope the test results come back OK and that you both keep safe and well. The plastic can wait for more important stuff. Cheers, Alistair

And a bit of stock card cut and glued into place using TET. Hopefully that will save on filler. Stay safe. Simon.
giemme
for the test results. Those are some nasty seams, Simon - I wasn't expecting that from an Eduard kit... You seem well on the way of fixing them, though Ciao

Biggles87
Yes, some unexpected problems for an Eduard kit, but I’m not surprised about the wing inserts, I’ve had problems with most manufacturer’s Mustangs in that area. Thanks for the tip on the main u/c bays, I’ll try to remember that for when I start one of mine. Good luck for the test results, fingers crossed. It`s more likely my clumsiness more than Eduard, but I have had problems with these types on inserts before John, how surprising. As @AliGauld said , fill , sand , repeat, well, yes that is what happened. A use of Vallejo Acrylic, Mr Surfacer 500 and Gloop has seemed to have done the trick. On most of it. Here are pics. A bit blurred that one. So was that one too. And the wings thing is still in progress. We will find out once I have given here a coat of Primer. Stay safe. Thanks @AliGauld, @Dr. Quack, @Sturmovik, @Biggles87, and @Hamden. Had time this afternoon to splash some primer around to check progress. First mask... Now the Alcad Grey....
