I sincerely hope the test results come back OK and that you both keep safe and well.

The plastic can wait for more important stuff.

Cheers,

Alistair

Thanks Alistair, we are doing our best.

As for the plastic, well time on my hands.....

Let the fun begin.

Filler..

DSCN2916

DSCN2917

DSCN2918

And a bit of stock card cut and glued into place using TET.

Hopefully that will save on filler.

🤞 for the test results.

Those are some nasty seams, Simon - I wasn't expecting that from an Eduard kit...

You seem well on the way of fixing them, though

Yes, some unexpected problems for an Eduard kit, but I’m not surprised about the wing inserts, I’ve had  problems with most manufacturer’s Mustangs in that area.

Thanks for the tip on the main u/c bays, I’ll try to remember that for when I start one of mine.

Good luck for the test results, fingers crossed.

It`s more likely my clumsiness more than Eduard, but I have had problems with these types on inserts before John, how surprising.

As @AliGauld said , fill , sand , repeat, well, yes that is what happened.

A use of Vallejo Acrylic, Mr Surfacer 500 and Gloop has seemed to have done the trick.

On most of it.

Here are pics.

So was that one too.

We will find out once I have given here a coat of Primer.

Stay safe.

Thanks @AliGauld, @Dr. Quack, @Sturmovik, @Biggles87, and @Hamden.

Had time this afternoon to splash some primer around to check progress.
