Thanks @giemme, @AliGauld and @elger.

Masking mojo today.

I decided to mask in and out.

Did the outside of the windscreen then used the remaining mask as a template.

DSCN2791

DSCN2792

DSCN2793

You get the picture.

Then the good lady wife brought me light refreshments.

DSCN2790

Once refreshed I finished off the masking.

Windscreen.

DSCN2794

DSCN2795

And canopy.

DSCN2796

DSCN2797

Another break then on with a bit more I hope.

A little audio entertainment while I sort out what next.

Now you're talking. The best band ever to come out of Townhill and covering Joni. Great stuff.

Nor mine Alistair, But it came with PCM`s so I used the spare ones to do the inside of the canopy as well.

Thanks @elger and @giemme.

Hairy stick out and Clears added.

DSCN2798

DSCN2799

And while waiting for those to dry I spotted that I had lost a bit out of the U/C bay.

DSCN2800

Yep, inner left.

But as I had not glued them in place was able to remove its mirror image.

DSCN2801

So at least I have a template to work to.

Silver out next for I.D. lights and cockpit lights too

DSCN2802

The roughness won`t show on the I.D. lights as its the reverse side.

Stay safe.

Simon.

Nice progress,  Simon!

Bummer for the lights, but they're underneath,  out of sight...  They do look good, though - way better than the painted on ones on my Mustang.

Hope the health is doing ok Simon, the modelling continues to impress.

The health bit is just one of those things Tony, I had suffered from it since 96 so have got use to it.

The kit is slowly getting there, I think.

Looking fantastic. All those disparate parts look like they will converge to form something stunning. Sorry to hear about your health issues but you sound like you’re dealing with life’s issues without losing stride. 👊

The lights look fine as they are but would they pop out if you poked them with a cocktail stick and a spot of pressure?  My inner @perdu showing. 😆

Onwards and upwards.

Prop and bits.

I then noticed that I had made a boo boo on the cockpit floor.

Rectified this and also remembered to paint the rudder pedals too.

DSCN2825

I can`t see any more spraying been done today but I will see what I can do later,

Excellent work Simon.

I didn’t realise that I’d got so far behind so stopped the ‘ likes ‘ before I inundated you.

Bad luck on the wheel well part but I’m sure you’ll be able to replace it, one of mine was badly crushed in the bag and was quite tricky to repair.

Hope you’re getting better.

Stay safe.
