Want to make a Type 61 with a difference?

For those wanting to jazz up an old Tamiya (or new Fine Molds) Type 61 tank, here's one that stands out from the crowd. In 1982, a Type 61 was fitted with some spaced armour, for trials against a range of anti-armour ammunition.

Worth a shot, d'you think?

Very Germanic.  There is a jib-less M32B1 ARV with "schurzen" in one of the pictures too, which may have a dummy gun barrel fitted.

It would be interesting and certainy not your average Type 61.  Mostly flat plate construction but you would have to take a swag at some of the finer details.
