Mike N
I've never heard of that product before, but the results look good! Was it easy to arrange on the model, or leave any residue? Mike

Was it easy to arrange on the model, or leave any residue? Pretty easy to apply, about an hour for this model, and this was my first time. Stretch and knead it, then press it down and stretch it to the prescribed pattern. At demasking, it lifts straight off - no residue. I was surprised at how easy that was. 2 minutes. Knead it all back together again, and back into the bag inside the tin. At this point I was quite surprised at the amount of paint on my hands, I don't think it sticks to the putty! This product is re-usable, and should last forever. 2
theplasticsurgeon
More masking, conventional this time, ready to airbrush the black underside. Postit notes for that scalloped edge. Insulation tape for edges, infilled with pages from an old railway timetable. And it's lashing down here, so no airbrushing in my near future.

PeterB
Looking good. That makes 3 104 Squadron Mk II if you include Enzo's one in another GB! Pete
Mike N
Nice work, Tim. The decals look painted on! Mike
theplasticsurgeon
A lot of details added. Props, exhausts, air-intakes, as well as aerials. Just undercarriage and guns left to complete now. I painted the wheels today. In the meantime I tried to big-up my new Airfix Tempest kit last night. Not the biggest, fastest, heaviest, furthest or any other ist I could think of. Sorry, but when this build is completed - I'll be reverting to the Bomber/Strike/Ground Attack GB until the Falklands GB starts.
