Marcel
A relaxing built, this time the Weekend kit of Eduard Spitfire. I used the Mk.VIII PE parts and Eduard resin wheels and upper engine cover. Paints and varnishes are by Gunze, the decals are a mix of Eduard and Airfix (insignias from the new Mk.Vc). No. 1 squadron SAAF machine piloted by Lt. Dave Hastie, Italy 1944 - with one Fw 190 kill. 35

112 Squadron
You made a superb model. 👍 This Spitfire looks excellent with its red wing tips. I also like the markings you choose.
Marcel
Thank you gentlemen. I think Eduard is the best 1/72 Spitfire ever -not 100% easy to build but I like the kit.

IanC
Very nicely done. Beautifully finished. But I'm sorry, I've always hated those pointy wingtips on HF Spitfires. And drawing attention to them like that...😁
