Regarding Modern Ucranian Air Force combat aircrafts

Hi there

 

Well I was checking at my stash of models and decals of the Ukranian Air Force, then I have MiG-29 Fulcrums, Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer, Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot and Sukhoi Su-24 Flankers,

 

Then I started to wonder about Sukhois Su-22 Fitters do they still in service or were retired before the war

 

I already have the Foxbot decals and Akan paints but wonder of the actual aircrafts used or shoot down (in my case my models and decals are in wonderfull  1/72 scale)

 

I know I don't know much about the topic but maybe this is a good tread start

I think that Fitters, Foxbats Fishbeds and also Floggers are long retired, some examples flying at repair companies and for export. Croatian MiG-21 or Angolan MiG-23 come to my mind....

 

Apart from that, most of its airforce seems to either have been in the ground for infrastructure destruction in the first night or directly destroyed. Russian surface to air threat seems high apart from that!

Ukrainian SU-25s and Su-24 have bombed columns in the Bucha-Irpen area 2.3.2022 or so. There was video of the Su-24 somewhere.
