A bit of a placeholder for the moment. The kits in the post but I know it’s missing the canopy so I thought I’d break out my new scroll saw and a set of plans snd make the canopy buck.

I’ll wait till the kit arrives to sand the buck down and make some molds.

Still need to decide on the scheme it’ll either be RAF (FAA?) or Aero Navale.

Ooooo A Sonofa - *- Second Class and Marklo;s gonna work his magic on it? This will be great! I'm watching this this with popcorn in hand:popcorn:

Son of a @7$##$ second class was the SB2C, mainly due to its very unpleasant handlingquities.  Apparently the SBC was much nicer to fly.

2-E27-CAAF-FC29-406-B-8-EDC-807-B4-A157-Arrived in the post this morning, no canopy, no decals either, not a big deal as I have many RAF roundels in the decal box. A little bit of damage to the cabane struts but nothing that can’t be fixed. I’ll probably start on this tomorrow, might even go molding :)

Nice addition Marklo and a kit I'm starting to really think about acquiring one of these days. Like the 260+ other threads, I'll be watching on as best as possible!

Cheers and best of luck.. Dave

57717-B13-F15-A-46-C8-B7-ED-FC9-FD19-C78Some vac formed canopies. The straight piece is in case I decide to have the canopy open in which case I’ll take the front of the one piece canopy and then cut the other two pieces out of it.

@malpaso you can have the one i

on the right as it’s the neater one. I’ll trim the other one and see that it fits before I post yours. Let me know if you want me to trim yours or not.

Hi Marklo,

This is way past my comfort zone! Actually it is way beyond me, full point!

Impressive achievement!

JR

PS: I have absolutely no idea what that nifty machine of yours is capable of!

Does it make pasta?

Congrats!

From what I remember this is a lovely model to make too. I did it on the box art Scheme, A rule I usually go with to make life easier to choose a scheme!!

Keep up the good work, Should look smashing when done.
