Rod The Fixer
Hi everyone, I'm starting to assemble this Hasegawa kit: by Rodolfo Masti, on Flickr to make this aircraft: Source: Seaforces.org VFA-127 Desert Bogeys was a Navy aggressor squadron which operated the F/A-18A from 1992 to 1996 after which they transitioned to the F-5. They were stationed at NAS Fallon where they provided adversary training for Pacific coast squadrons. gingerbob
Thanks. I'd be tempted to "repurpose" it on some other type- it doesn't seem to fit the Hornet terribly well, but maybe it looks better in living colour.
Wings unlevel
Great subject! Interesting that VFA-127 went back to the F-5. Was that due to a shortage of Hornet airframes?
