Spookytooth
Gary Brooker, pianist and vocalist with Procul Harem has died aged 76. I had the great joy of working with him on several occasions and all I can say is that he was a very lovely person to work with. I have a personally signed copy of "Salty Dog" in my collection and think that I will have to give a spin. RIP Gary. Simon. 1

stevehnz
The sounds of some of my most formative & vital years, late teens, full of raging hormones, love, lust & loss, what memories & angst this brings back. Thanks for helping me through those times Gary. RIP. Steve.

I loved whiter shade of pale - who couldn't - but salty dog for me has the edge. I saw Gary Brookes playing with Roger Daltrey quite a few years ago in a symphonic rock tour, he really was an extraordinary keyboard player.
