SprueMan Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 (edited) Not yet, most likely, they will post an update on their facebook page (linked above) when it is about to be released. So far, other kits are released first, the (edit: MD!) airliner and the US civil war mortar. Edited October 24, 2022 by SprueMan 1

Clear the slipway https://www.facebook.com/mikro.mir.dnepr How do you link to a specific FB post?? I do it by posting the image as a LINKY so you can go to the post by clicking the word where is says this is part of a post. Favouriting the page on your browser is much easier than trying to use FB's attempts. 1
SprueMan Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Ah thank you!! In the meantime; it is confirmed that there will be three separate boxings: S.6 S.6A S.6B So the original 1929 version and the two 1931 versions of the 1931 walkover and the record plane. 3 1

TEXANTOMCAT Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Blimey, a whole set! This needs more publicity. might have to get the old yacht out and put ‘wake up England’ across the rigging in lightbulbs 😉 1 1

Caerbannog Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Nice they continue with the Schneider racers. Hope the S.4 and Maccis will follow. I build the S.6 for a "Less than a tenner GB" many years ago (Testors kit of course) but still might be interested to do another S.6 🙂 1
k5054nz Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Excellent to see it getting so close. I've yet to built a MikroMir kit but this is looking very, very attractive. 1

LanceB Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 Just as an FYI: there was some confusion with the kit numbers and box labeling, as both the S.6 and S.6A are to use the same box art, with different labels for kit number and kit type. I have confirmed with Sergey at AMP that the S.6A is kit number 48026 (now released), and S.6 is to come later as kit number 48025, and will have new parts included for the correct size and style floats for an S.6 6
Tea Taster Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 This piqued my interest, I have the S.6B in my stash, and the S.6A on backorder. A bit of internet searching and I found this: www.baesystems.com/en-uk/heritage/supermarine-s6a-and-s6b An interesting read, basically the S.6 was upgraded to S.6B and re-designated S.6A It looks like AMP 48026 contains the same plastic and decals as the earlier S.6B. I had assumed (incorrectly) that the new 48026 was an S.6. Awaiting the S.6 kit with anticipation
