Bertie McBoatface
I see that the Chevy is still available but now with extra figures (from master box I think). I think you have made a sale!
Carius
Hello Bertie, so I deserve to receive a part of the sale value, I think
f matthews
Have always liked that kit a lot-since first seeing it in the Tamiya flyers that came in the kits in 1976 or so. I need to eventually build the one I have and hope it comes out remotely as nice as yours! Excellent stuff!

stevehnz
A wonderful build Carius, you have an artist's eye for detail, so much to see in this. I do like the Kiwi & the Scorpion in the first photo too. They are so in keeping with the subject. 👍 Steve.

Johnny Tip
Great model Carius! I love the little details, like the disc with the RAF roundel and swastika for identification/irritation! Did you use aftermarket wheels?
Carius
Many thanks Johnny, yes I used resin tires from DToys code 35-012. Tamiya's tires are not so bad, but these resin ones are much better and attractive. Redcoat2966
Nice bit of weathering on that one Carius, I really like it a lot........nice subtle touch overall and looks like it's been across the dunes a few times...I remember building the original 1976 release when I was kid....prompts me to look at some British soft skins from the Desert war for the future. Cheers... Simon.
Carius
Many thanks Simon, glad you like it. I like a lot soft skins vehicles, some time ago I started building a quad gun tractor, not yet finished. Cesar

Cesar Yeah, had my eye on one of those Quad tractors on Ebay a few months ago; but it went for more than I was prepared to pay. Saw a nice example of build on the web with a full scratch built interior......need to look into some more British soft skins to have a change of subject.
