Stunning work, very well done.

Always impressed with the shear size of the Stirling particularly evident in the b&w photo of the ground crew next to the undercarriage.

Thanks very much Gazza - it is a big beast!

Fantastic Stirling and a very sobering story to go with it!

It really is a beautiful tribute to a crew which went through an awful ordeal.

👍👍

The added detail from @stever219 also much appreciated.

I also admit to @Head in the clouds. that I sincerely doubt myself capable of any such bravery.

Thanks for the kind words Kapam - much appreciated. It is rather beyond comprehension that he prevailed despite such appalling injuries...

Cheers,

Roger

It was a great pleasure to follow the WIP for this one and seeing the finished photos is the cherry on top.  That’s an excellent model and tribute to a remarkable man amongst remarkable men.

My pleasure. Really inspirational work.

According to Scalemetes Italeri is about to re release their Short Stirling kit in 2022.

Maybe i get me this time the kit, when it came out some years ago i was put off by the high price and some bad reviews.
