ShogunBallistic
So I built a Zvezda YAK-3, my first airplane since the early 80's so a bit of a challenge. But it looked like it required a better base to stand out (and maybe draw attention away from the obvious mistakes..). My idea is that this is an airfield somewhere in Russia. To break the monotony and bit only have green grass I thought I would have some concrete landing strip as well. After looking at some examples and ready made products I decided to draw everything in Fusion 360 and 3D print it. So this is what I looked like when printed I then filled in the area which should be grass with some wall filler, and once dry I gave everything a quick color. Gave me a chance to test my AK WW1 set as well. In the background are the woodland scenics grass that I will be applying to the surface.

JesseNepal
This looks great! And a beautiful Yak as well. The base and the machine really shines together. The concept keep it simple is strong with this one! In the best of ways
