Of Models & Monsters
The Gladiator's cockpit is fully assembled, just waiting for the fuselage halves to embrace.
bigbadbadge
The cockpit details look good, does the PE come with this kit? Chris

Chris No, I had to buy an eduard set. The kit itself really lacks in cockpit detail.
Of Models & Monsters
I may have skipped ahead a little with the progress photos, the fuselage, wings and rigging wires (yes, I glued one side of the rigging wires prior to painting) and after my first attempt at painted roundels with my Aichi D3A, I ramped up the difficulty and tried painting RAF roundels as well as ID lettering.
bigbadbadge
The painted roundels look great , I like the paint it is looking very weathered. Chris
thommo
Damn that looks good! How did you do the masking for the letters & roundels? I'd be cutting masks using my Cricut Maker machine for those.....though I soon have to do some tiny lettering in 1/72 using the machine which will be interesting. I don't mean to brag but I actually cut them by hand. I have an olfa compass cutter but I can't for the life of me cut a complete circle with it, so I just grabbed my hobby knife with a spinnable blade and did it myself.
