Here we go...openng up the gallery with Yuri Gagarin's Blue 66...the WiP is here:

Nice simple classic Airfix build.  No whistles or bells.  I used the rocket pods and basic markings from the Revell kit (which looks ok, btw).  Vallejo Air paints, etc...

Here’s my 1/72 Eduard MiG-21PF, VPAF markings.  Mostly OOTB with the resin seat and turned brass pitot tube rescued from my trashed RV kit, main wheels by Armory.  Decals from L Decals Studio.  Model represents the aircraft flown by Vietnamese ace Nguyen Van Coc of the 921st Fighter Regiment “Sao Do” based at Kep in 1967-68.

Trumpeter 1/48 Mig-21UM Mongol B Ukrainian Air Force, built pretty much OOTB with a mix of kit (stencils) and Linden Hill (national markings) and Academy (bort numbers) decals, paints are by Akan and Gunze (the dark green). A thoroughly enjoyable build and a kit that I recommend if you are looking for a stress free build.

Here's my Eduard Egyptian Mig from 1973...

The WiP is here...

This was, as usual, a satisfying build and any errors are probably my own, not the kit.  Still, It looks very nice I think.  I am going to start another for this GB.  We'll see how far I get before the middle of March.  I am off-island for 5 days beginning Monday, then Easter the week afterwards.  I think I can do it.

As a finishing touch I gave it a bit of 'concrete dust' with the airbrush.  I think it is successful, especially on the underside.
