BLACKCODE
Hello my friends, Six months after returnig home from DR Congo and 3 weeks of COVID, I was able to restart my zorks on the workbench. Now, I present to you this build. The 1/48 Sukhoi SU-24 Fencer from Trumpeter with the Algerian Air Force markings. I must confess; this kit is a great disappointement. It needs a lot of work of corrections and putty. I uesd eduards exterior PE, it was necessary... Algerian roundels and serial numbers are home made decals. I used Tamiya acrylics with this composition : for the light blue : XF2 (Flat white 95%) + X4 (Blue 5%). For the khaki/brownish : XF49 (Khaki 80%) + XF10 (Flat brown 20%). And finally just for the green : XF61 (Dark Green). Here is a picture of a real Algerian Fencer before they painted them with Desert camo : The model : Cheers !
28ZComeback
Beautiful build and camouflage work!! Not an easy kit. Mine sits idle with $100 in aftermarket nearby. Cheers. 1 1
Pete in a shed
Excellent job. The addition of Eduard aftermarket parts has really raised the standard of the kit to a higher level. Also, well done with the home made decals, they are very good indeed. Pete
