An ungainly looking bird Alistair, but truly British.

Nice one mate, she looks great.

Simon.

PS, I have the Revell T5 in the stash somewhere.

Thanks so much.

Oh LOVELY!!

A really nice rendering of a post-war classic.

How did you get on with nose weight?

Thanks very much.

I tried to make sure I had enough nose weight in her.

I may just have overdone it a tad.

That looks very good indeed, great paint job.  I only ever built the old Frog one many years ago

Colin

Thank you very much.

It's a great kit and certainly an easier build than reviews would have you believe.

Lovely Gannet - nice to see the AEW version, it makes an ugly aircraft (in the best possible sense) look even more ungainly. That's a cracking job you've done there. I keep looking at my vacform AEW conversion and keep putting it away again so it looks like this may be the way to go!.

Thanks very much.

It is a nice kit and with a bit of care goes together easily.

Absolutely fantastic! I have a real soft spot for this ugly looking bird! The washes you used give it a very subtle patina which I find very realistic! Well done and thanks for showing this masterful rendition!

Andy

Thank you very much for your extremely kind comment.

I tried to give her the look as if she'd had a rough day picking the mail up. Not too much.

Cheers,

Alistair

My pleasure ! Your method worked a treat! I looked up Nuln oil  Maybe ill give this a try in the future . Just lookIng to try something that's not Panel line black to highlight panel lines etc . I agree Less is More where weathering is concerned.
