SirDrinksalot
Hello, This is my first build since I was a child, even back then they were never painted or used decals and certainly never thought of a Diorama. I think the inspiration is well used: 51
Abandoned Project
Wow! Just looked at this on my phone and thought the first picture was the real thing! Edit; oops, it is the real thing 🤪 Fantastic diorama. Certainly looks like your inspiration. 1

Pete in a shed
Excellent job, you have captured the feeling of a field deployment perfectly. I'm sure I,ve seen those trees before, Bergen Hohne maybe🤔 Pete

Bertie McBoatface
Very nice. Good to see an aircraft diorama with some height to it.
Maginot
Waiting, hidden amongst the pines, ready for whatever the 3rd Shock Army deploys across the North German Plain. Very nice modelling indeed. Maybe just flatten the steel mesh (Sommerfeld tracking?) a tad? Looks like you've left the old ways behind.

Agree on the matting, I couldnt find any references to what they used, I dont think its Sommerfield as it seems denser in the original picture and it looks like it curls up which makes me think its material. It certainly isnt layered like mine so will play with that. Thanks Dave Edited January 30, 2022 by SirDrinksalot

woody37
Great little diorama, how I always remembered the Harrier from videos growing up as a kid, parked in amongst trees.
