Tug SA Everard

Recommended Posts

Here is my latest maritime subject, the tug 'SA Everard' in 1/100 and with the exception of two items, she is scratch built. I started this back in 2018 and is built using mostly plasticard and rod, metal tubing, clear acetate for the wheelhouse. The windlass and anchor are 3D printed by @Iceman 29, thanks Pascal. Paints were wide and various, and the decals came from my decal bank. Figures are 1/96 from Deans Marine.

Superb result Stuart, and as a first scratch build, I'd say you are a bit of a natural at this game! That seascape is also very convincing.

Well done!

Well I totally agree with Terry that has turned out rather nice looking forward to moor with your Fushimi Maru build as well keep it coming sir.  :worthy:

What a superb little model, and scratch built too. Beautiful finish Stuart.

Nice of you armour guys to pop to the dark side. Thanks for your praise, much appreciated.

What a characterful little model very nicely presented. I really like the shape of the gunwale around the bow and those suspended tyres. As it's scratch built, I'm guessing it's unique, too.

Hi Stuart! I was curious what you boat builders produce so I called by to take a look! Very nice, mate :). I dont think I'll be tempted but it is great to see such great modelling. :)
