Britman
As I was so rudely interrupted by a bout of covid 19 when attempting to get this project going it has taken a time to finish. It is of course the Airfix 48th scale Vampire and it was a joy to build. No major niggles , so another has appeared on my bench and is in the WIP location long with some momentous efforts of finger trouble by your`s truly. The other half of the DeHaviland duo and another gem from Airfix , their 48th Chipmunk . I had to model WK518 as it is in my log book and is still flying with the BBMF. I hope you like them. Comments welcome. Thank you for looking. Keith 34
Farmerboy
Beautiful builds, the Chipmunk is surprisingly big or is the Vampire surprisingly small!
Britman
Thank you , yes the Vampire is quite petit. Keith

Yes a nice pair of models. But the Chipmunk is photographed in front of the Vampire so it is essential to post the following explanation! 😂 2

SAT69
I'm impressed with how well you applied the gloss white and gloss red on the Chipmunk. Those can be a challenge and you've met it very well.
