A magnificent build.

I will definitely need to get one of these. I'm so disappointed that I never bought an WW Albatross when I had the chance 😢

This kit would at least be a consolation prize.

If I can pull something off half as good as what you have done I'll be even happier!

Very nice fokker indeed, congratulations!

let me ask you if you had a problem with a crooked upper wing with Your kit?

Hi,

no, my wings were straight. Maybe it arced a bit, but I can't say I'm a hundred percent sure about it.

Brilliant! I'm assuming the wood parts are in fact wood?

No, they are painted.

That is a superb DR1!

Did you paint the Fokker factory streaking yourself - it looks spot on.

Definitely agree this is Museum standard. Not my era WW1 but it's an astonishing and beautiful model.

I loved the machine guns especially.. The wooden prop  and the overall patina of the model really works for me. These were real 'dogfighting' machines !

I have to agree I think the mud splashes are best left off ,but they don't spoil this excellent model.

thank you for showing another aspect of modelling.. canvas and wood.

Kind Regards, Andy
