Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 (1/24 Aoshima)

More or less finished, and should add a rather nice contrast and splash of colour to my display cabinet (sitting amongst my, mostly, more subdued-coloured military themed models!) :).

Ace colour and nicely finished.  Lamborghini are my favourite super car, the Diablo was the first car I truly fell in love with in my early teens.  Lambos always seem built for the out there colours which are right up my street, orange, lime green, bright yellow etc :)  Nice work fella.

Thanks for all the comments, much appreciated. :)

I was quite happy with how the interior turned out too, I was going to spray it all Black, which would of looked rather drab I think. Spraying it a combination of Black and Dark Grey definitely broke things up a bit, made visually a little more interesting.

Cannot praise the Zero Paints enough either, very pleased with how that turned out. Mind you, looking at the Arancio Atlas Pearl Orange in the jar, it does look incredibly dull and uninspiring!!  However, once a few light coats are on, and the final Lacquer coat applied, it really does come to life. If anybody is looking for that specific Orange, it is this one below:

It does look a bit rubbish just sitting in the bottle ...... !  :D

Had a quick thought for display purposes, found an off-cut of carbon fibre and squared up the edges, makes a half-reasonable display base for almost no effort at all. Makes a neat contrast to the brightness and intensity of the Orange body colour. That'll do nicely.

That does look stunning. Beautiful paint — I always think it’s amazing how the clear coat transforms Zero Paints colours. And good job on correcting those small body shape issues… makes all the difference to how much like real thing it looks. It’s so weird that Aoshima let them go…

best,

M.
