canberraman
A terrific build and paint job Falcon! Looks like Airfix have really nailed the 1/72 Buccaneer with this kit. Mark

Pete in a shed
Great looking 12 Sqn jet. Took me straight back to my first posting (Honington) where there was line upon line of the iconic beauties. Pete
Big Dave S
A very tidy bit of work. Was it a good kit to build/paint? (This is the last model in my stash)

falcon
Cheers guys. I didn't encounter any issues with the build but I did decide to paint and decal the weapons as live rounds rather than drill rounds like the kit suggests.

Could you maybe expand on that? I don't understand the point about rounds. Sorry.

Lord Riot
That’s absolutely beautiful. The colours look perfect. I wish Gunze did them in spray cans, they look much more accurate than the Tamiya and Humbrol sprays I use.

cngaero
Fantastic work. I've always liked the green and dark sea grey wraparound camouflage scheme and you've replicated this perfectly.
Lightningboy2000
Superb looking Buccaneer. Looks pretty good completed. I'm about halfway through completing mine as a Honington example but parked with the wings folded. Quite a nice kit to build. Martin

F-32
Lovely job, I'm building one at the moment - how did you find the fit when connecting the cockpit section to the main fuselage? Mine was a bit of a struggle!
TEXANTOMCAT
Lovely to see so many Buccs from the 'so say the naysayers' unbuildable Airfix Bucc kit! You've made a great job of her too TT

You've made a great job of her too TT Um, you are proceeding from a false assumption. Falcon's build is the new, 2019 vintage, 72nd scale Airfix Buccaneer S. Mk. 2B. It is not the infamous 48th scale Airfix Buccaneer from Hell. The 72nd scale kit is most buildable. Ask me how i know this. -d-
