Piet van Schalkwyk Posted January 21, 2022 Share Posted January 21, 2022 Hallo all, During 1980, the Chilean Air Force received sixteen Mirage 50s as a counter to the delivery of the Neshers from Israel to Argentina. I am trying to establish which air-to-air missiles the Chilean Mirage 50FC and Mirage 50C were armed with, if any. I know that they were fitted with Shafrir 2 and Pyhton 3 missiles after the upgrade to Panteras, but specifically would like to know which missiles they carried before the upgrade programme. Giorgio N Posted January 21, 2022 Share Posted January 21, 2022 The Shafrir 2 was introduced together with the Mirages so this was the missile that armed the 50s before the upgrade.
