Popular Post russ c
Howdy Everyone, Just finished my latest effort so thought I`d bother you with some pic`s My attempt at ICM`s 1/48th OV-10A Bronco kit Finished in the markings of a Forward Air Controller, 19th TASS, USAF, whilst in support of the US Army 1st Air Cavalry, Vietnam 1970 Built as usual mostly from the box contents..... ...only additions being the aerials, some brake pipes and seat belts. I decided to complete it without the guns in the sponsons as I noticed that the US Airforce usually had them removed from FAC...... ...later in the war to discourage the FAC`s from taking unnecessary risks and reducing losses Decals are from Caracal Decals CD48068 Bronco sheet and some from the kit. Hope you enjoy, thanks for looking Cheers Russ

arfa1983
Looks great, especially in that diorama. How was the kit to build!?

Thanks arfa, It went together mostly OK, except for some large gaps under the wings that needed shimming. The main undercarriage was very fiddley as its made up of a large number of separate parts with small mating surfaces AND you`ve got to get them both aligned the same. I`d build another one day, but not very soon. Cheers Russ
