theplasticsurgeon
Joining you with this kit. Which will be very similar to my previous A-10 from 2018. And I'm probably going for one option on each side again.

theplasticsurgeon
Sticking with this thread, there is a duplicate - which I can't delete. Decals then Indiana ANG option and Michigan ANG. Parts the same as my previous Italeri A-10.

theplasticsurgeon
Early progress, in the cockpit. A digital instrument panel, the only difference over my previous build.
theplasticsurgeon
Now the fuselage is together. I found a wheelweight today, which will be added into any available space.
theplasticsurgeon
A lot of assembly later. Ballast installed into the nose, wings and tails fitted. Engines are dryfitted only, but important balance trial underway here. Engines now fitted, and ailerons. Stood on my crude painting stand.

I've only just started. The top bit is common for all options, Then either of the bottom two options for grey - and I'm doing a mix of both, with one on each side.

theplasticsurgeon
Decals are going a bit slower than I'd like, but I am getting on with those Super Hornets. One thing I'm stalled on is the ARMAMENTS rectangle. Is it fitted on grey A-10s? Let me know. A bit more A-10 trivia: At work we had a US integree on my team. One of his neighbours was an A-10 pilot with the Maryland ANG. Each year pilot had to complete a handling exercise, didn't matter where - so it was conducted right over his house. He'd let the neighbours know in advance, which was like a private air-show, from their gardens. Top stuff! And the team were very pleased to see my camo Italeri Warthog, when I took that in to show them.
theplasticsurgeon
Decals finally completed. Blacksnakes side. Indiana ANG. I've taken some liberties with the decals to get all the badges and identifiers applied. Then the Red Devils side. Michigan ANG. Again, liberties with the decals to get all the badges applied.
