THEscaleSHOW
Hello all 🥳 After a long break due to illness I am slowly getting back on track and would like to share a few more pictures of the wasp with you today. It's about the weathering and tracks, which are my first ones made of vinyl. I still added the Duce poster and window grille to the building, then the tank was added to the base. I hid the glue spots of the tracks as good as possible in the dirt. Next week I will get my new photobox, then hopefully there will be some nice pictures for the gallery. Have fun! MD Painting of the wheels Although the decals are very old, there were no problems applying them 👍 oil dot filter Tracks in red-brown-blue Unfortunately, they are too long 😲 I fixed everything step by step with super glue and then cut off the excess. Then the tracks and running gear were weathered. This is my finished vignette. A bit different from the original base, but more Italian style 😁 Building a Wasp again after almost 40 years would never have occurred to me without the GB here on BM. I have to confess that the tiny wasp has challenged me more today than it did at the time. But it also shows what a beautiful hobby model making is and that age is not a factor. Thanks to all who wrote to me and made this GB possible 👍 I hope you like the model as much as I do. MD
Jinxman
Beautiful job - great as a stand-alone build, and even better as a vignette.

Rabbit Leader
Excellent work MD, I've just taken a belated journey through the GB gallery and this Wespe and overall display looks absolutely brilliant. It's amazing how something so small that once cost 25p when first released can make such a and grand display and conversation piece. You've done very well here, its really lovely. Cheers, thanks for for participation and well modelled.. Dave

Matchbox kits are like an old friend you haven't seen for a long time and met again in the GB. How beautiful was the childhood and youth ... Thanks to all!
