Regular Hornet. Hasegawa or Hobbyboss F/A-18 C/D 1/48.... Which one is easiest to build ?

Hi,

Been away for awhile but am now returning to the hobby.

I did build the HAS F/A-C 1/48 some moons ago and it was a bear to build.

Is the Hobbyboss easier and does it have it's own challenges ?   From ease point of view.. Which route ?

Thanks

Matt

Lucky for you, there's an F-18 groupbuild just started here:

Both kits are featured as subjects, and you will probably get the expert advice you need by asking in the groupbuild chat thread 👍

In any case, the short answer is probably get the Kinetic F/A-18C/D or go big with the Meng 1/48 F/A-18E kit 😂

I’ve only built the Kinetic kit personally. Generally I think it wins for the best overall combination of detail and buildability.

But most discussions I’ve seen suggest the Hasegawa is the easiest to build. The Kinetic isn’t bad, but is a bit fiddly in some areas.
