exdraken
https://theaviationist.com/2022/01/10/f-35cs-aboard-uss-abraham-lincoln/ Looks like the USMC leads the way! Would never have thought the Navy would be slower to bring the C model to the boat...!
Slater
The US Navy seems to be somewhat lukewarm on the F-35C. They appear to be more comfortable with their F/A-18E/F aircraft, possibly because of their long operational history.

Would never have thought the Navy would be slower to bring the C model to the boat...! CVN-70 Carl Vinson has had CVW-2 aboard since the spring of 2021. One of its squadrons is the F-35C equipped VFA-147 ‘Argonauts’. https://news.usni.org/2021/04/29/first-f-35c-air-wing-ready-to-bring-5th-gen-fighters-to-carrier-strike-group After Vinson, the CVN-71 Theodore Roosevelt will be the next to deploy with the F-35C. She began a planned 16-18 month refit at Bremerton in July 2021 to make her F-35C compatible. In her CVW-11 airgroup VFA-97 ‘Warhawks’ is transitioning to the F-35C from the F-18E. I’m not so sure that it is the USN being “lukewarm” about the F-35C as it is co-ordinating carrier refits to take the new aircraft when it is down to 11 ships, with two in RCOH (currently George Washington due to complete in 2022 and John C Stennis which began in 2020 and will complete about 2024/25) and the new Ford still not fully operational.
Slater
Compared to the "A' and "B" models which are being sold to customers around the world, the F-35C has a more limited customer base - the USN and USMC (so far, anyway). So I'm guessing that procurement will be more measured. As I've heard someone say about the US Navy "The US Navy is 200 years of tradition unimpeded by progress" 1

Seems I missed that! was it kept low key or what?! here as well: https://news.usni.org/2021/08/02/first-f-35c-fighters-cmv-22b-deploy-with-carl-vinson-carrier-strike-group seems they deployed in August... maybe the should have painted up a CAG bird to draw some attention (at least important for modellers ) https://www.seaforces.org/usnair/VFA/Strike-Fighter-Squadron-147.htm
